Blossom Bridge Initiative (BBI) is a women-led initiative based in Rwanda. Created to make sure that everyone, no matter who they are, can make decisions and help protect the environment. We started as the Health and Equal Rights Organization (H.E.R.O.) on August 20, 2018 and thereafter in 2023, we began to work with official recognition as Blossom Bridge Initiative.

We believe that progress means helping those who are often left out. Our goal is to empower women and girls in all their diversities to be part of important decisions and to lead efforts to protect the planet. Being led by women, we understand the challenges faced by women. We want to address these challenges with care and strength.

We do not just want to make changes; we want to create a community where everyone feels supported and can make a difference. Through our programs, advocacy and partnerships, we hope to create a world where everyone can grow and succeed, no matter who they are.
